About the Role
We’re looking for a driven “Business Development Manager” to join our Sydney team and lead growth across our medico-legal services. In this full-time, on-site role, you’ll expand our client base and strengthen relationships with law firms, insurers, and government agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the Medico-legal sector
- Build and maintain strong relationships with law firms, insurers, and government agencies
- Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies
- Manage the sales pipeline, from lead generation through to conversion
- Prepare proposals and tenders, and coordinate client presentations and meetings
- Gather client feedback to inform service improvements
- Partner closely with clinical and operations teams to align offerings with market needs
- Support marketing initiatives and report on performance, forecasts, and market trends
- Represent Evaluate Medicolegal at networking events and industry forums
- Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
- Proven business development, sales, and account management experience, ideally within professional services or healthcare
- A track record of generating and converting leads with institutional clients such as law firms, insurers, or government agencies
- Strong market research, pipeline management, and CRM skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and collaborate across teams
- Background in healthcare, insurance, legal, or medico-legal settings highly regarded, along with familiarity with workers’ compensation or personal injury frameworks
- Willingness to work On-site in Sydney, with flexibility to travel for client visits, meetings, and industry events.
